Ambassador visits Bratunac municipality

On Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, Ambassador Douglas McElhaney inaugurated a small low voltage electrification project for 10 returnee families in Omerovici hamlet, Glogova village, Bratunac municipality. The total value of the project is KM 37,000. Ambassador McElhaney also visited Osamsko, returnee village in Bratunac municipality, where he, together with several employees of the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, planted fruit tree seedlings. An American Foundation "Kirby Simon Foreign Service Trust," which was formed in the memory of Kirby Simon, a Foreign Service Officer who died while serving in Taiwan in 1995, donated Osamsko community KM 4,400 to purchase 508 fruit trees, some chicken, and seeds.
