First BiH Youth Leadership Program Reunion Brings Together Alumni from Different Backgrounds/Regions: The U.S. Embassy-Sarajevo organized its first Youth Leadership Program (YLP) alumni reunion September 28-30 in Mostar. Over 50 alumni, who participated in this program between 2003 and 2007, traveled to Mostar from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since its inception, the BiH program has included 15-20 participants per year from different backgrounds and regions. They spend one month together in the U.S., where they attend leadership development workshops, live with families, meet U.S. teenagers, and visit a number of U.S. cultural and historic sites.
