Ambassador English visited the Behram-Begova medresa in Tuzla

On February 12, Ambassador English visited the Behram-Begova medresa in Tuzla. He met with Tuzla Mufti Husein Kavazovic and medresa director Vahid Fazlovic. Ambassador English also chatted with 20 medresa students who are participants in the Embassy-supported "Access" English language program. Alma Piric, a Bosnian-born American citizen, is a U.S. State Department English Language Fellow who teaches the students at the American Corner in Tuzla and has also organized American-style extracurricular activities for the students including Halloween parties and Thanksgiving meals.
