Following Sarajevo showing, “Landmarks of New York” exhibit opens in Banja Luka:

On March 19, 2008, Head of the US Embassy Branch Office in Banja Luka, Heidi Jovanovic, and the Director of the Cultural Center “Banski Dvor” from Banja Luka, Milorad Petric, opened the State Department-sponsored exhibit, “Landmarks of New York,” at the Music Pavilion in Banja Luka. The exhibit displays black and white photographs of historic buildings in New York City, along with panels describing each building’s origins and history.
Prior to Banja Luka, the exhibit was also displayed in Sarajevo, as part of the Sarajevo International Winter Festival. Ambassador Charles English officially opened the exhibition on February 22. The exhibit attracted many visitors due to the Winter Festival’s widespread publicity and general interest among the public in anything related to American arts and culture.
