The United States European Command has provided $550,000 for the improvement of the school through our Office of Defense Cooperation. This demonstrates the continued commitment of the United States to the people of BiH, and the continued cooperation between the U.S. military and the government of BiH. The renovation of this school will support the education of nearly 1,000 students, of varied backgrounds, who together form the future of this country.
This project of renovation is a joint effort between US and Bosnian military engineers and is being performed by the Maryland National Guard’s 175th Civil Engineer Squadron and the AFBiH’s Engineer battalion.
