Fulbright Student Program 2013 - 2014
The Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia & Herzegovina is pleased to announce the Fulbright Student Program competition for research in the United States during the 2013-2014 academic year. Scholarships are awarded competitively and are subject to the availability of funds. The Fulbright Student Program is a non-degree program that brings student researchers to the United States for an academic semester or year. The Student Fulbright Program is intended for independent library and/or field research toward a Master's or PhD degree. Students will establish professional contacts in their field, enhance their scholarly work, and gain international experience and personal enrichment.

Eligibility/Requirements:
- BiH Citizenship
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD Program
- English language proficiency (semi-finalists will be required to take the TOEFL test by January 2013)
Ineligible candidates include individuals with U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status.
The Embark online application for the 2013-14 Fulbright Foreign Student Competition will be available as of February 1, 2012.
Completed applications must include:
- Online application at Foreign Fulbright Program along with the following supporting documents:
- Detailed research objectives
- Personal statement
- Three letters of reference
Additional documents which must be sent by registered mail and received by June 25, 2012 include:
- Copy of original undergraduate and graduate diploma certified by municipality or institution that issued it
- Original translation of diploma/s
- Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts (record of courses taken and grades achieved) issued by university
- Original translation of above transcript if “official” is not issued in English
- Professional resume or CV
- Signature Form, printed and signed
- Report on Proficiency in English, printed and completed, please follow the link
- Copy of BiH Passport Bio-data page
- Signature Form, printed and signed
- Report on Proficiency in English, printed and completed
