Petitions for Alien Workers
The U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo can only accept for processing I-140 immigrant visa cases in which the beneficiary has filed an I-824 request for overseas processing and the beneficiary was last resident in BiH. The Embassy will therefore process only those cases in which the beneficiary can supply all of the following documents:
- Original I-797 "Notice of Approval" of the I-140 petition
Copy of the I-140 petition - Original of receipt for the I-824 to show that the beneficiary requested overseas processing
- Evidence that the beneficiary is a Bosnian citizen
If, and only if, the beneficiary satisfies the above requirements and can furnish all of these documents, he/she should send the documents noted above to the following address:

We will then contact the beneficiary and advise him/her as to further steps in the processing of the immigrant visa case.
