Under Secretary Of State For Political Affairs Nicholas Burns To Visit Bosnia And Herzegovina

Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 12-13, 2005. The Under Secretary's trip to the Balkans underscores the continued commitment of the United States and our international partners to regional stability and to the integration of the Balkans into the Euro-Atlantic community.

Following events on October 12 will be opened for media:

Meeting with members of BiH Presidency (photo-op only)
NOTE: All media interested in covering this event should contact Press office of the Presidency of BiH.

16:30 Press conference (open press)
NOTE: All media interested in covering this event should arrive at the UNITIC Towers, Fra Andjela Zvizdovica 1, Congress Hall, first floor no later than 15:45.

17:45 Meeting with BiH youth (open press)
NOTE: Undersecretary Burns will not make any statement directly to the press at this event. However, media are welcome to cover the event. The media should arrive Center for Interdisciplinary Post-graduate Studies (CIPS), Zmaja od Bosne 8 no later than 17:00.
