Ambassador's Statement on Constitutional Reform

U.S Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Douglas McElhaney said today, "The parties are working hard to realize the joint commitment signed in Washington, which is the begining of a longer process. All participants have shown a cooperative and serious attitude. Everyone understands that it is time for this country to move forward. The U.S. welcomes the fact that the participants agreed on a package of guarantees for human rights consistent with European Union and international norms. More detailed discussions continue on the issues agreed upon in Washington."
