Charge d’ Affairs  of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Judith Cefkin expressed condolences

In a letter to Republika Srpska Prime Minister Dodik, Charge d’ Affairs  of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Judith Cefkin expressed condolences on behalf of the Government of the United States on the sudden passing of RS President Milan Jelic.

"I was saddened to hear of the sudden passing of RS President Jelic at such a young age.  RS President Jelic will be remembered for his contributions to bilateral relations between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the Charge stated.  “He served as an elected official at a particularly crucial time in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its journey towards Euro-Atlantic integration."
